The easiest way is to SSH into your shell and type 'get-egg' to install the latest eggdrop version.
Next you need to edit the eggdrop.conf file in the directory you are in.
There are two lines in the eggdrop config file that have to be removed in order for the bot to run, the makers of eggdrop have done this to make sure you actually read the config file all the way through.
Once you are done editing the config type:
./eggdrop -m eggdrop.conf
This should start your bot up if you edited the configuration properly. Then follow what it tells you to do when it starts up.
